You, the firefly beautifier of the night sky
Creator of hope for children's dream
You remove the grief of child thought
The bosom friend of a butterfly.
Though you fly in the night sky
You heap and shine much like lightning
You the fairy of the deep dark night.
Keep off children from nightmares,
The queen of sweet dreams soothes the mind
You have a little light at your tail
They see you, find you, and don't fail,
Yet your beam is the sweetest one we see
Find pleasure in playing, the sweetest company.
The fairy of the heaven, queen of the night
you enter into my net-giving company,
I see you near my window roaming
Yet I don't try to catch you then
You bring heavenly joy in my sorrows
And deep sleeping by your soothing memory.
I see you at willow, weed, waterside, and in my garden
You fly over the petals with dew-sprinkled wings
Come to my yard and give your touch
Become benumb and hush on seeing you.
Your tail twinkle like a little star
But I do not try to catch you not to dwindle
Its wings flap, flap creating buzz and then lull
The stars of the evening night.
You the heavenly bodies come to the earth
The intimate friend of nature,
You hide during the day, as the moon hides herself
The bosom friend of butterfly.
